I am sorry....I was looking forward to reading this book, but it really is not a well-written or interesting book. It's so boring and trite. I cannot even start to say what makes it so unreadable. Well, how about there is no plot and the characteres in the book are very unlikable and predictable. The characters are "angels" who are more like wall-street juppies that smoke cigars, drink whiskey and like to mess up with peoples lives by making them sin. By the way they refer to people as Meat Bags! By the way one of the "angels" is a nun who in her life as an angels has to dress as a prostitute!!! Oh God, help me.Then there is this Elite group of "angels" that become so by choice and like the elite group in the military they have to go through a special training that involves flying over Mount Everest and plunging into the Ocean without panicking and ebing afraid of drowining (but aren't angels already dead???).....so boring. I am at page 87 and there are still about 200 pages....how am I going to bear it?????
I enjoyed the book, but I was scared half of it I did not know what to expect from Patch, let me say Jev, anymore, so I was stressed I still identify myself a lot with Nora, every time more. Can't wait to read the next one, definitely a great series.
