Bu beni güldürüyor. Olmamalı, ama öyle.
If you can read this book and not be full of longing for Provence then there is something terribly the matter with you! I savored every minute of this book. I allowed the ideas to soak into my heart and I really feel blessed to have been able to read it. The characters are delightful, unpredictable and beautiful. I truly felt like I was being taught how to write as I read. A wise author, Julianna Baggot, :), once told me that to create beautiful writing you have to blend the good with the bad; mix the terrible with the wonderful; the failure with the triumph. You must have darkness. Oh how this book illustrates her point. One of my favorite authors, Khalil Gibran, says that "Your joy is your sorrow unmasked." This was a constant theme throughout this book. I believe with my whole heart that we can only know joy as deep as we have known the pain. And the whimsy? It's there in little paper lanterns and french pastries and characters that make you want to reach through the pages and hug them. Are you brokenhearted...in any way? This book is, most certainly, your cure.
