Mixed feelings... mostly like a Mills & Boon Romance(and I still like them as much as Desperate Housewives, Sex in the City & Friends) but again sometimes not quite that. It's a little of this and that. A futile attempt at revealing the concealed culture of the land in the 21st century but again it seems only a minuscule of what the reality is. Pick this one up from the bookshelf only if you are looking for some "masala relief" not if you want to do any serious reading. :-) Don't expect a lot and you shall enjoy! Accept that in general women sometimes can be as foolish as the Girls of Riyadh and not as sensible as you are right now and the best part is, men can be as stupid as well.. The author seems to gain sadistic pleasure by reducing the men in the book to such fickle minded characters...I mean Firaz & Faizal the two "supposedly" stereotypes of eligible bachelors are so painfully inconsistent and the author herself is as inconsistent with her narrative of them. I failed to see where she stood. At one page she elevates them to "the perfect man" and at the very next they are just the lecherous ones. She seemed to have heard all the stories from her friends and yet she seemed to have access to the minds of the guys as well...I can go on and on but this one is made for quick consumption then prolonged recapitulation..
